I will contact you from time to time to see if your circumstances have changed or if I can be of any further assistance to you. I also encourage you to contact me if your situation changes and you require any changes to your lending or insurance.
How I am paid for my adviceMost of the time, our services to you are completely free. That’s because instead of being paid by you, we receive revenue from our product providers the lenders and the insurers.
iNSNET is paid in the form of a commission (‘Insurance Or Loan Commission’) by the Product Provider(s) if you take out a loan or insurance policy following my advice. I am on contractor and therefore do receive commissions.
Fees payable by youI will not charge a fee for the financial advice that I provide to you. Any fees relating to the loan application will be paid directly to the lender or service provider.
In certain circumstances I may need to charge a fee for our time, but this will be discussed and agreed with you beforehand. More specific detail on this will be included with my written recommendations.
The commission received for implementing an insurance product or lending pays for completing research and analysis of your information to ensure we select the most suitable product for you. The commission also covers the cost of my administration team that assist me to make the entire process efficient and stress free.
If you cancel or reduce your insurance cover or lending within 24 months from the date of the policies inception or loan drawdown, the Insurance company / lender will clawback the commission paid to iNSNET. iNSNET reserves the right to invoice you a fee of $1,000 + GST. The fee would be required to be paid by the 20th of the month following invoicing.
To avoid the fee being charged, you can discuss your new requirements prior to cancellation, reduction or changes with me, I will be happy to restructure your cover or lending to meet your changed circumstances
Loan CommissionsThe commissions are between 0.55% and 1.0% upfront of the value of the loan and may also receive applications fee up to $2000. The amount will depend upon the lender and the type of loan that you choose. We may also receive a commission of between 0.10% and 0.20% of the remaining balance each year.
Insurance CommissionsThe commission is between 50% and 120% of the first year’s premiums of your policy. The amount depends on which insurance company and which insurance policy you choose. I also receive a commission of between 3% and 25% of the premium for each year the policy remains in force.
How I manage any conflicts of interestI have an obligation to prioritise your interests when making a recommendation. Should any actual or potential conflicts of interest arise during the advice process, I undertake to bring any such conflict of interest to your attention so that you may assess my advice objectively. At present, I have identified the following conflicts of interest:
